Four faculty have received the Nelson Bushnell ’20 Prize for excellence in teaching and writing.

Williams is pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the Nelson Bushnell ’20 Prize, the college’s major award for faculty excellence in teaching and writing. Awarded to 62 faculty members since its inception in 1995, the Bushnell Prize is given to faculty who are consistently recognized both by their colleagues and their students as excellent teachers and mentors.

The prize winners for this year are:

Quamrul H. Ashraf, Halvorsen Professor for Distinguished Teaching and Research of Economics

Kris Herman, Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Head Softball Coach

Lee Park, William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of Chemistry

Zachary Wadsworth, Associate Professor of Music
