Summer Experience
A record number of Williams students held alumni sponsored internships over the summer, putting into practice what’s learned in the classroom, exploring new interests and testing out potential career paths. The increased interest in part is due to changes this past summer to the Alumni Sponsored Internship Program (ASIP)—including more remote and hybrid opportunities, more flexible hours and more flexible duration. As a result, more than 270 students, many working alongside alumni, received stipends from the college to participate in full- and part-time opportunities, in person and in hybrid and remote settings, all over the country and globe. Here are some of the highlights for the summer of 2024:

Other fields included law, education, art and museums, entertainment and performing arts, communications and journalism, energy and the environment, NGOs, entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, social and racial justice, architecture, design and graphic design, and advertising/marketing.
